On this series of my Blog. These will be about the cheapest way to travel to citys for a cheaper price. Although flying is usually the quickest and easiest way of getting to citys, there are also other ways.
Some other ways from the United Kingdom to Europe are;
- Ferry - France - Ferry's run from the south cost of England. One of the biggest ferry ports is Dover were there are ships to the well known Calais ferry port in France. However there are also Ferrys which go to the Rotterdam in the Netherlands. Also is you want to go to Normandy in France one of the fastest ways is crossing from Plymouth, Devon to Rosscoff. This is a five hour crossing by day and six hours by night. This is a nice way to travel across and a nice way to start a French holiday as you can relax in a Cabin of your choice. Other crossings to France are from Portsmouth to St Mallo.
- Ferry - Spain - One of the only ways to travel to Spain by ferry is from Plymouth to Santander or Portsmoth to Bilbio. This crossing takes around 24 and a half hours. Although this takes a long time to cross the post which is used on this route has a lot of things to do. Like a cinema, two restaurants and a small swimming pool. Also there are lots of choices of cabins which range from basic cabins which have a two beds one which is at a normal height and another which comes out of the ceiling. This cabin comes which a radio and an en suite bathroom which has a shower. Then there are cabins with four beds and also Premier cabins which have four beds, tea and coffee, tv (with English channels as well as French) and also a large window.
